National Trails Day is June 1st, and it's the perfect excuse to get outside and enjoy what's around you.
You don't need a big plan or a full day set aside. A short walk, a nearby trail, or even a quiet sidewalk can be enough.

Counting your steps on each piece of sidewalk
Skipping instead of walking just for fun
Racing to the next tree
Stopping to look at a bug, a leaf, or a cloud
Letting your child choose which way to go

| Spotting different types of leaves | Counting how many birds you hear | Picking a favorite moment from the walk | Listening for new sounds |

You don't need a full day or a big plan to create meaningful moments.
A short walk. A quick bike ride. A few minutes outside.
That's enough.

While we're taking care of our kids and making time for these moments, it's a reminder for us too.
Care can be simple. It might look like getting fresh air, slowing down for a few minutes, or even taking time to care for your hair in a way that feels good and manageable.
It all counts.

The best moments aren't always planned.
